How to Draw A Ballerina Dancer Step by Step || Girl Dancer Drawing

Below is a step-by-step drawing tutorial.

Step 1

As shown here, you will begin by drawing a ballet frame. Draw a circle around her head, then add a neckline. You will draw a second circle for her chest from the neckline. Next, draw a line to define her waist. The waistband should be connected to the lower half of the ballerina’s body. Next, draw two long legs. Bend your feet to the floor.

Step 2

Once the first step is completed, you can add the shapes to her limbs. Draw a small circle around her shoulders, then draw the contours of her thighs.

Step 3

You will now draw the sides of her beautiful face. You will need to pull her hair as if it were being blow into her head by a fan, since her neck is arched. There are many hairstyles you can make, but I chose this unique style. Next, draw the neckline of her hair and outline her eyes.

Step 4

Next, draw the arms and hands of the ballerina. Once you are done, define her eyes and draw her jawline and chin. To emphasize her boldness, add some detail to her arms.

Step 5

This is where you’ll see the outline of the exercise for a ballerina. You will need to draw the shape of the ballerina’s bottom disc. You can perfect her hand by drawing her fingers exactly the same way as in this fifth step of how to draw a ballet dancer.

Step 6

This is the final step in your drawing. First, draw lines to divide the top of the tutu from her breasts. Draw the ruffles on the dancer’s gown and add pleats to make the dress stiffer and puffier. You will learn how to draw the shoes of the ballerina by finishing the drawing of her feet. You can erase all the shapes and principles you created in step 1.

Step 7

This is how your final sketch will look when you are done. Now you just need to choose a color to paint her. I hope you enjoyed learning how to draw a dancer in ballet. I’m confident that I can.
